About

An independent reader for tax questions on Ohio ballots.

Mill by Mill turns the words of a tax levy question into what it costs a home, with the working shown, so a voter can decide with the number in front of them. It is a small, self-running website with no staff and no outside sellers. Four information pages, this one included, show one banner ad for WeldonPC’s own services (see Privacy); the ballot tools and your Levy File never do.

Independent, and on no side

Mill by Mill is an independent site. It is not the Garfield Heights City School District, the City of Garfield Heights, Cuyahoga County or any public office, and it takes no side on any levy. It is not paid by any campaign, district or government. The web address is a name its owner holds; the site does not speak for any school district and uses no district's name as its brand, no seal, logo or colours, and no staff names.

For official information about a levy, the school district, city or county that put it on the ballot, and your county board of elections, are the sources. For your own property's value and tax bill, your county auditor (in Cuyahoga County, the County Fiscal Officer).

Who runs it

Mill by Mill is built and run by WeldonPC, a computer services business in Ohio. Powered by WeldonPC.com.

How it is paid for

The reader and the maths are free. The Levy File Pass ($1.95 a month or $19.50 a year) pays for the site. Payments are not switched on yet: during the preview every File gets the Pass free.
